Heart Books News

Agent has cleared me to say I sold 3 more Heart books, though I have not received the contracts. Heart Fortune (Glyssa and the-hero-who-wants-to-be-called-Race-when-there-is-also-a-former-hero-called-Raz in the book), Heart Honor/Heart and Hearth (Tiana and Antenn), and Heart Legacy (offshoot Blackthorn hero, protege of Tab Holly, and Itha Yew).

People on fb have been asking about the next generation. I am thinking that Dani Eve and her quest for space will be coming up, and, of course, Vinni T'Vine. I had an idea for T'Ash's younger son, Abutalon Gwydion (WHY did I call him Abutalon? I guess I thought I'd never get to him).

Many thanks for all your comments!

Robin

I made the decision to call him Gwydion in Heart Secret and now it is DONE. Right now he's an Animal Healer and a little soft...and, yes, I am still working on blog and facebook and twitter this am instead of writing...

Second name maybe? Great news about the books, can't wait for the next one to come out, it's already on pre-order!

Doing happy dance! I am happy to buy and read all the Celta books so keep them coming. My only request is more clovers and of course Vinni. He is the best character ever. Congratulations, Robin, on continuing your writing career.

What great news! Doing happy dance too. Protege of Tab Holly and Itha Yew?? Are you going back in time with that one?

Thanks, all! And, Jenny, I obviously didn't phrase that right. The hero is one of the offshoots of the Blackthorn Family (Heart Choice), and the heroine is the neglected daughter of the not-so-sane Taxa Yew.

This is my groom/daughter of the manor story...but hero is a spy for the endlessly meddling FirstFamilies who don't know what's going on at the estate...and HE is the protege of the late Tab Holly...

I hope you have time to answer a quick question.

You wrote "Heart Honor/Heart and Hearth (Tiana and Antenn),...."

Does this mean the title is one or the other? Or, does this mean Tiana's book is "Heart Honor" and Antenn's is "Heart and Hearth"?

The second book's title (Tiana and Antenn) has not been set. And, sometimes even when I like the title, like Heart Match, my editor doesn't so it becomes something else.

This series is an auto-buy for me, one of my absolute favs, so this is great news! I think the book I look forward to the most is Vinni and I would have been sad if you didn't get a chance to tell his story! Thanks for the fun.

When I read your books, I feel like I am really there. I read a lot and you are the only author I will make a special trip and take a day off to read. I am very happy to hear you are going to continue. I look often for your next books and it warms my heart to know there will be more. Thanks for sharing your talent with all of us.

Take care,

Angie

Yes, everyone is awaiting Vinni's story. For a while, he and Avellana seemed so close, I didn't get what their conflict would be...but now I'm leaning toward a feeling on Avellana's part that "Vinni knows best" is really irritating her as they've aged.

Angie, thank you so much! That always helps to keep me writing.

I very rarely re-read books, but I've found myself in the last month re-reading the entire Celta series again. They are just so different and interesting compared to normal romances! The first one I ever got was Heart Quest - absolutely fell in love with the fun and flighty Trif, and been enjoying them ever since. Thank you for sharing your gift and look forward to more :)

Thanks, Anon, Heart Fortune was a very difficult book to write just in terms of real life stuff and making sure I cover any and all the logic holes...but it's in, and over wordcount, so we'll see if I have to cut...

Excited for more books! Also particularly looking forward to Antenn and more Vinni (that 6 year age difference between Avellana and him has to make things rough at some point--is he just hanging around by his lonesome until she becomes an adult?)

Love this world! Great characters and situations
