Reviews
I got sucked into a review site last week and had to remind myself of several things with regard to reviews.
1) I am writing books that I like and I am absolutely doing the best that I can.
2) People's tastes are subjective, though I would love to have everyone like my work, that won't happen.
So, thanks for the support, folks. Not sure that I say that as often as I should.

Robin;
You haven't written anything that I haven't bought. I still re-read your series (both, but, especially Heart) on a yearly basis. You and Anne Bishop have been my top two authors for the last couple of years. You have knocked McCaffrey and Lackey out of the top two spots. I never expected that to happen but it did. I eagerly await a new book from you.

PS. I have just wrenched my knee really badly and am home with the knee up. Plenty of time on my hands, but, your books are in easy reach.
A agree 100% with Tine.
We apparently have eerily similar tastes in authors!
Anne Bishop has been my #1 for 5+ years. But now you share the spot. Sometimes I just need something a little softer than what I get with her writing, something that makes me feel really good - like chocolate! - that is when I turn to the Heartmate series.
Your skill at world building is phenomenal. Celta is rich with history, culture and intrigues for the future! I can't imagine the person who doesn't appreciate your work.

I cannot bring myself to even buy the new Anne Bishop so distraught am I at the possible sadness! Patricia Briggs is also a great author. I love the family feel you get from Celta, as if they're people you know, especially the fams!
I love your books in both series. I can't wait for your next books to come out. I always put them on pre-order.
Thank you, all. I would highly recommend Eileen Wilks and her werewolf series.

I am already reading Eileen Wilke.

The Celta series is one of my favorite series, and on my must-buy list (along with Anne Bishop, Lynn Kurland's Nine Kingdoms series and a slew of PNR authors).
I also loved the Exotique books; haven't gotten around to the new series, but that's more due to my (lacking) budget than anything else.
And I'm so looking forward to 2 (!) new Celta books this year! That's great news.
If people couldn't find things they didn't like in your writing, you would know your writing was too bland to be any good. :-)
I love the Celta series (loved the other one, too, but the 'horses in danger' element tripped some deep switches in me so I loved it a little bit less) and re-read it whenever I need comforting.
Works as well as chocolate without the additional calories!
Thank you all. I will definitely re-read your comments when I'm having Dark Nights Of The Writing Soul.
Wow, Tine. Did I say take care? I hope that you are all better by now!
