Flash Drives

I love flash drives, and the nicer looking they are, the more I love them. Buying a flash drive makes me feel secure, and I just purchased a 64G on ebay for a pretty good (standard auction) sum.

I like having them around and have a special place I keep them (in the front of an old plastic 3.5 diskette drive holder).

Unfortunately I lose them fairly often (I once misplaced my tiniest at a hotel business office area and when I went back it was gone), and occasionally give them away.

My largest currently is 32K and holds the backup of my new computer (the OS or something, whatever they wanted to backup).

So 64K looked good...but I was awed by 128K, and now have bids (which may or may not stand) on two of them. (Will tell you later). I am fickle and loves my memory.

There are flash drives that look like Transformer Tigers, and other kewl stuff. There are flash drives that look like bullets and gold bricks and cute animals. I like those that are streamlined best.

I would like to say that I keep them for one book/series only, but I lie. I would like to say that I keep them organized, but that is untrue, too. I DO back my files up regularly to them (two at once), since I can, with one click of a toolbar icon macro (wordperfect, remember, though I'm sure other wp programs could write a macro for them).

And that's enough about flash drives...but they are cute, useful, and make me smile when I buy them.

I have a flash drive that I repeatedly forget to use. You would think I would be smark about it since a virus had wiped out my last computer.

I have a question. Can Enchanted Ever After(Mystic Circle, #3) stand alone?

It has continuing characters, but I tried very hard to introduce them easily and you don't need to know their backstories.

The arc's available, and I've learned not to request books out of sequence. :o)
