Mom on Heart Search

Photobucket
My Mom on Heart Search: "It was a good book. Why do you make all your brothers wimps?" Me, scrambling. "Duh." I have two brothers, one is a beta guy but excellent with figures and money (like Mom's father), the other is an ex-marine. So, like, maybe I LIKE making my brothers wimps. After all, I got dolls for holiday gifts and they got weapons.

:) May you enjoy your family today.

I never noticed you make all the brothers wimpy. Better than the alternative -- super aggro jerks you'd have to kill or send to prison at the end. Wimps are easier to reform. :-)

BTW, I got hold of Heart Search last week (happy birthday to me) and read it in one gulp. My friend is thisclose to having her second baby, I'm on call to take care of her older son when she goes into labor and I found myself thinking "I really hope she's not actually in labor today and it's just more Braxton Hicks -- I've got to finish this!"

Now I feel guilty because it wasn't labor. She's so eager to get that kid out so she can spank him (it's been that kind of pregnancy) and I wished her out of labor!

I wonder why the romance world classifies their males as the zoologists do. I always think of a herd or pack animal, when I read. "alpha, beta male".... Ram, wolf, chimpanzee, baboon ...never of a man. Yes, we are animals...but far too complex to classify that easy.

Not all women like aggressive gorillas! Intelligence is much better and humor with it.....irresistible!

I think T'Vine is the sneakiest. Trying to get couples together, giving fams to heartmates, trying to get people to follow the best future path, makes him the sneakiest non-Fam, non-Yew person.

LOL, thanks Silver Phoenix, as for anon, the romance writing world classifies their men, too, so it's, I suppose, shorthand for writers.

And I'm mulling over people's ideas regarding the spy...
